The other night I was in Emilie's room singing to her before bedtime. I was using her big pink dog as a pillow and taking up a good portion of it. She came to lay down by and pushed my head over while saying, "scoot."
She calls Nicholas, Nicky. (She is the only one that can call him this. Nicholas is just harder to say.)
"What doing mommy?"
When you tell her something like, "We are going to have lunch first," she responds with, "k." (I wish I could record it and put in on here, it is really cute.)
"Daddy go?" She asks this whenever she notices someone is missing in our family. The other day (8/19/09) I took just her on some errands with me. The whole time she was asking, "where daddy go?" "where Nicky go?" She was very concerned that they were not with us.

colson did that same thing about a week ago but he put it around his mouth instead of eyes. probably hurt a little less coming off!
Nicholas, ask Mom for a cloth blindfold next time! Grandma wants to see eyelashes on those handsome eyes in a few weeks.
Oh my gosh! OUCH! Remind me of my friends little bro who was playing with super glue and then itched his eye... bad news...

Oh man! Ouch is right, poor guy! One time I was curling my eyelashes while sitting on a bed and I slipped and ripped all of my eyelashes off of my left eye, so I know how bad that hurts! :(
that is so funny! crew believes that tape is like bandaids, for some crazy reason. mike sent me a photo the other day of crew's foot and it was COMPLETELY wrapped in scotch tape. i'm glad my kid isn't the only strange one :) i'm sure it didn't hurt nearly as much (or at all) coming off the foot, though. poor nicholas! so cute!
