Spoiler Alert: Anyone that doesn't know the mystery behind the Easter Bunny or Santa, do not read on.
Sorry no pictures tonight, just a funny story to record.
Tonight we were getting ready for the Easter Bunny to come (it comes to our house a day early so that we can focus on Sunday on the true meaning of Easter. This is something that my parents did growing up). We dyed eggs, put the grass in our baskets, got cute pictures of kids, etc. We were having a moment to just sit around as a family when Shay asked, "So, how do you think that the Easter Bunny gets past people's dogs?" We kind of chuckled and Nicholas started thinking. He then replied with, "Well, that is why he wears a costume, so the person inside doesn't get hurt." I then asked him, "How do you know there is a person inside?" He said, "Well because I have seen a banana with a person inside and a chocolate bar with a person inside (not sure where he saw that or the banana for that matter)." We laughed and then he also informed us that Santa was just a person with a beard, but his elves are real. And Santa does ride magic reindeer. We thought that our 4-year-old already had the mystery of the Easter Bunny and Santa figured out. But alas, he has not put all the pieces of the puzzle together. What a funny kid.
Shay was also trying to convince Nicholas that the Easter Bunny came into your home through the microwave. Nicholas didn't believe that for a second. Of course, he knows that the Easter Bunny just comes through the front door. But who gave him the key?

That's SO cute! And I LOVE that you do Easter a day early! I think next year (since I missed this year) we will start that tradition! Thanks for sharing Kim!
Too smart of a kid! It is so funny to see how 4 year-olds view things. Have a Happy Easter today!!!
Oh that is hilarious!!! Smart kid. I don't know where the chocolate bar/person is from, but I've also seen the banana man (Jamba Juice):)
What a great story! Sounds like you have one smart 4 year old.
