Happy Birthday Emilie!!

Happy Birthday Emilie!

Today Emilie turned 3. We are so happy to have her in our home.
She is a pure joy! She keeps us laughing and on our toes.

Here are some cute pictures of her from the last few weeks:

Holding baby Carter (this was at the beginning of May,
he is MUCH bigger than this now). She can be tricky. Here she is thinking she is evading bedtime.
Maybe we can't see her?
Being like mommy.
Taking the wheel on the boat in Vail on vacation. She got behind the wheel and did not mess around. She seriously started steering the boat. She was not messing around.
Here are some fun facts about our Em:

-She is very independent. She likes to do things on her own.
-She is a great little sister and a great big sister. She loves to tag along with Nicholas a play with him. She is always watching to see what he will do next so she can do it too. She loves to talk to Carter and likes to help him with things like putting his bink in his mouth.
-She knows her colors, even aqua (since that is moms favorite).
-She counts to 10 and can also count down from 10 (totally surprised me one day).
-She is determined.
-She loves to play with her toys and is very good at pretending.
-She has no fear (this isn't the best thing).
-She learns quick.
-She LOVES to swing. If she asks you to swing her plan to be there a long time.
-She is sweet and kind.

I asked her some questions today (thanks to my sister-in-law Kalli for posting them on her blog) that I thought had some fun answers:

What is your favorite color? Pink
What is your favorite food? Cheese
What is your favorite show? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Who is your favorite person? Mom
What is your favorite thing about yourself? I'm made of bones
What is your favorite thing to do? Play with toys in the toy room
What always makes you laugh? My macaroni and cheese (???)
What is your best friends name? Nicholas
What is love? It is this- she then hugged herself.

She knew today was her birthday and milked it for all that it was worth. She even told Nicholas in the car, "It's my birthday, LEAVE.ME.ALONE."

We love our Em. She brings so much fun to our home.

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

oh my goodness - i think miss Emilie and miss Gracie would get along SO well! I'm going to ask Gracie those questions tomorrow. I am curious to see what she'd come up with! These little 3 year olds are just the cutest with their new vocabularies and way of thinking. I LOVE it!

Happy birthday, little Em! I cannot believe that she is three years old. She's a genius for being able to count backwards from ten. And I didn't know your favorite color was aqua. Huh. Learn something new every day :).
Love your new blog background. It is very cute.
Looking forward to our call next week. Hope you are well.
And post pictures of that baby! Thank you. That is all.

Haha! My favorite answers to the questions was the fact that her favorite thing about herself is that she is made of bones, and love means hugs. Super cute!
